Japan GAIP: Technology, Innovation and Global Learning

“Experience innovation. Think beyond boundaries.”
The Global Academic Immersion Program (GAIP) in Japan gave 125 final-year B.Tech students an opportunity to explore advanced technology, academic excellence and Japanese culture.
Students visited Factory Innovation, Green Factory Expo, RoboDEX and Kawasaki RoboStage, gaining practical exposure to smart manufacturing, robotics, automation and Generative AI. Academic visits to Tokyo City University and the University of Tokyo further introduced students to technological disruption, innovation and international education.
The immersion also included cultural experiences across Tokyo and Hakone, helping students understand Japan’s discipline, sustainability and blend of tradition with innovation.
The journey connected classroom learning with real-world technology and encouraged students to look beyond technical knowledge towards adaptability, communication and global awareness.
