La Trobe University: Learning in Australia

The study tour to La Trobe University introduced MITSOM College students to Australian higher education, industry and culture.
Students explored the La Trobe campus and interacted with faculty and Indian students studying there. Academic sessions covered Business Information Systems, accounting, finance and marketing. Industry exposure included a visit to Bendigo Bank and a gold mine.
The journey also extended beyond academics. Students visited Phillip Island, Sydney, the Blue Mountains and Canberra, including the Australian Parliament.
The tour brought together classroom learning, industry interaction and cultural experience, helping students understand education and professional environments from an international perspective.
